Hello there, friends!
As you can see, I get behind on my memory keeping too! My April pages are ready for a peek, though, (with May on the way soon, I hope) so please click below for my latest flip through!
Three P’s dominated my April dashboard in my Happy Planner: PlannerCon, Planner’s Night Out and Prince.
After Prince’s sad passing on April 21, there were so many wonderful musical tributes for him here in Minneapolis and many more planned for the early summer. The page opposite my April dashboard gave me some extra space to display photos of some of the events happening around town and also news stories.
My April monthly layout was all about my trip to Atlanta to experience my first PlannerCon! It was such a fantastic day that I decided to create a list of the event’s highlights. Meeting one of my very favorite YouTubers, MissVickiBee, was top on my list!!!
I had a lot of fun layering all of the washi tape, peaches and planners for my monthly spread and I’m really happy with how this page’s collage turned out!
I used some vintage “Glurfs” stickers to decorate the last week of March/first few days of April pages. I thought these little monsters were really cute and their red flocked fur is fuzzy too! Anyone else out there have Glurfs stickers? 🙂
The month started off with some wonderful news that my best friend Shannon became engaged to her sweetheart, Luis. They are the sweetest couple and I was excited not only to learn of their happy news, but to have the honor of being their first phone call! 🙂
The first half of PlannerCon week; I was so excited for the event that week and also anxious for traveling!
PlannerCon was on Saturday, April 16th. It was such a fun day and I met all sorts of new Planner Girl friends too. While I was in Atlanta, I also visited the Atlanta History Center and a Paper Source shop where, of course, I found some planner goodies!
I flew home to Minnesota on Monday, but not before stopping to visit the Margaret Mitchell house! It was a really wonderful tour and I learned all kinds of interesting bits about her life. I am totally keen to read Gone With The Wind again.
Prince passed away this week and I included a pocket page to save a newspaper that featured him in tribute. Crowds of fans and followers gathered at First Avenue downtown in Minneapolis to leave flowers and balloons in memory of him, too.
During the last week of March I went to a Scrapbook Expo at the St. Paul fairgrounds and my mom came for a visit! She’s a crafty girl, too, so we had a creative afternoon making cards for family and friends.
Thanks so much for stopping by to check out my monthly flip through!
Please subscribe to my YouTube channel so you don’t miss next month’s flip! I’ve been doing some traveling recently, so as you can see, I’m totally behind in my planner flips. I am trying to get caught up on my pages as quickly as I am able, so I can film another video for you 🙂 Thanks so much for your patience as I catch up!

Wishing you a wonderful rest of June!
