If you’re looking for some fun shopping this weekend, mark your calendar for the Lowertown Pop. It’s one day only: Saturday April 9th, 2016 from 10 AM – 4 PM held at the historic Union Depot in St. Paul.
Lowertown Pop is a Minnesota maker market featuring more than 50 local artisans and craftspeople – brewers, bakers, distillers, artists, musicians and more.
For planner and stationery junkies like me, be sure to check out cards from Muddy Mouth Cards and Bruno Press, and Scrappy Products for cute pencil cases like the one below. The little shot glass is from Blue Henn. I think the Minnesota graphic is really cute!
I attended the preview event for local bloggers and influencers and fell in love with these soy candles by 3 Way Beauty. You can pour the warmed oil onto your skin for a relaxing massage. And they smell good too!
I also liked this handmade moisturizing body scrub and lotion bars by Bodylish.
Jessica Hoch at From Your Mat created these blue throat chakra bracelets especially for writers and bloggers that attended the event. She even included an affirmation card, “I Am Heard” with the bracelet. What a sweet detail!
My new favorite snack to eat while working in my planner is the Zesty Lemon Rosemary nut mix from Isadore Nut Company. I can’t wait to pick up a bag of the Cocoa Kiss nut mix this weekend.
The pop up market will be organized by “categories” in the foyer of the Union Depot, so you can easily navigate to your favorite artisans and discover new ones too. Be sure to mark your calendar and hope to see you there!
